In 2012, I designed and implemented a website for DHD Ventures, a real estate investment and property management company. The site was built using Joomla, leveraging the Zoo Content Construction Kit (CCK) by Yootheme to create a structured, easy-to-manage platform for showcasing properties and projects.
Key features included:
- Dynamic homepage with a slideshow of featured properties and projects.
- Custom property pages with details like square footage, class, location, descriptions, and photo galleries.
- Google Maps integration with optional Street View for each listing.
- Admin-friendly content management—DHD Ventures staff could update property listings, manage team profiles, and edit site content without technical expertise.
- Contact forms with CAPTCHA to prevent spam and streamline inquiries.
I implemented the entire platform from CMS setup to custom template modifications, ensuring a scalable and professional online presence for DHD Ventures and its sub-properties.
